“Why do I need a business coach? And what’s a business coach going to do for me?”
So why do you need a business coach?
Well firstly let’s look at what a business coach is.
A business coach is somebody that stands in the outside line, looks at your business and says how you can do it better, what you can do to improve, what is you profitability, what are your targets, what’s your team like, what are your systems like, just business improvement, what’s your customer service like, they look at your business as a whole and how you can improve it…. a bit like a swimming or sports coach.
We’ll talk about a swimming coach first, a swimming coach, they don’t get in the pool and thrust around with you, and they don’t just turn up with a system and say here it is.They come they look at your strokes, they look at what you are doing, they encourage you, they drive you, they make sure you’re getting a timely results, they keep you accountable.
They look at your swimming stoke and see how you can do it better, they look at how you kick, how can you perform better in the water, to be out to beat the others, that’s the idea of a swimming coach.
The same is true with a football coach or any sports coach, but as a football coach he’ll take videos of the games, watch what happens, watch them over and over again, see where the mistakes are made, explain to the guys, you know push the guys, make sure they get results so they can win the competition.
So the idea is to get them pushed to get them results and get them ahead of the competition or get them to stand out from the crowd.
Everybody Needs a Coach
As I said all top athletes have coaches, so to with a lot of business coaches, a lot of businesses the top businesses have coaches as well.
People like Bill Gates, Eric Schwartz from Google. Eric Schwartz from Google started with Google in 2001 when they were turning over just over 20 million dollars. They had no cash flow.
When he floated Google, they floated it for 23 billion dollars and at the peak period there are 230 billion dollars up. So he was there from 2001 to 2014 and as I said went from 20 million dollars to 230 billion dollars and now considered the fifth biggest in value business in the US.
