Yes, even a small type of business should have this powerful trio, Vision, Mission and Culture. This serves as a guide and an inspiration to the business as a whole and also your customers. Having a vision, Mission and culture set for your business are some simple yet useful tool our private coaching clients apply in their business and have a clearly defined path for the future of their business. So what are Vision, Mission and culture statements in a business? Your Vision Statement Your Vision statement is the overall big picture for your business, where you see it in the medium to long term like 5 – 10 years. Your vision for your business is what you are striving for and what you are ultimately guiding your business to become as it grows. Your Mission Statement Now your business mission is all about what you stand for, what you are striving to achieve and the service you are providing…the purpose your business exists! In developing a mission statement for your business, you have to consider the following: What is there in your service, what kind of service you have in your business? the terms of the benefits you will provide or what need you will satisfy. what you do and what you are making. the type of business strategy you will make to achieve your goal and succeed. An example of a mission statement that has stood the test of time is that of Coca-Cola… their mission statement that they display on their website is “Our Roadmap starts with our mission, which is enduring. It declares our purpose as a company and serves as the standard against which we weigh our actions and decisions. To refresh the world… To inspire moments of optimism and happiness… To create value and make a difference.” In their Mission statement they address what they want to do with their product. Our private coaching clients have discovered that having a clear vision for the longevity of their business and the mission statement outlining what they want to bring to the marketplace, keeps everyone focused on the end result and working toward a common goal. Your Culture Statement The Culture your business is founded on is the attitude that you promote within your business… the ethics you uphold within your company to service the needs of your clients. Every business has their own set of culture or ethic points that they expect their team to uphold and deliver to your customers. Your vision, Mission and culture statements are intertwined and all major players in the successful growth of your business. As many of our private coaching clients have discovered, having a vision, mission and culture statement for your business makes it much easier to have your team helping you push your business to grow the way you want it to because they know what your business is going to be like in the long term and how you’re going to get there with your mission and culture statements.
Time management is a powerful technique and essential skill for everyone to get the most productivity out of each day. Many of our private coaching clients have discovered that having proper Time Management Strategies is the answer to them achieving more every day in their Business. With good Time Management you are the one in control and this makes it much easier to balance both the essential tasks in your business as well as regaining some time for yourself and your family. Having a business should not mean that your business should steal your quality time for your family and there are several powerful Time Management Techniques and tools we offer that have helped our private coaching clients regain control of their time management issues and become more productive each and every day! Everyone knows that addressing priorities and important tasks in a timely manner is important, unless you are truly unique, you have many areas you need to give attention but just seem to run out of time each day to get it all done.. Although they sound equally important, this is where our private coaching clients utilize a To Do List to ensure important tasks don’t get missed and also to assist with the prioritizing of each task, so the most important ones get done first. Using a “to-do-list” is quite simplistic and its ease of use is what makes it so simple to integrate into your business and start regaining control. With the humble To Do List You simply make a list of all the jobs that need to be done on a daily, weekly or even monthly basis to give you a checklist of all the tasks you need to get done in that time frame. Then you simply need to break the list down into daily tasks and priorities the tasks into the order of importance. This simple time management tool ensures the most important tasks get finished first instead of distractions taking you “off task” as often happens in every business and often ends up with nothing really being achieved. Another very simple Time Management tool is learning to say “no” when appropriate or if one of your team is enquiring “how to do something”, ask them how they would do it and guiding them to find the answer instead of just telling them or taking over their task. This way they will start to become more self reliant and stop eating into your time and messing up your time management for the day. Phones and technology can also mess with your time management, so sometimes you need to allocate times where you disconnect yourself from telecommunications and the like so you can focus on important tasks. Instead of checking all emails, messages and answering all calls when they come up, if you set aside a specific time where you check all messages and returned calls you would have less interuptions through out your day and be much more productive. If you implemented only the simple Time Management Tools mentioned here, you would see a massive difference in how much you actually achieve in your day. Everyone has the same 24 hours in a day and as our private coaching clients have discovered, improved productivity comes with improved time management. Improved Time management lets you achieve more inside normal working hours and gives you more time back for the important things you are probably missing out on. After all who wouldn’t want to go home early, catch up their favorite TV show with a bucketful of popcorn along with his wife and kids? Or have a good sleep without stressing about the tasks that didn’t get done? You have discovered several Time management strategies here that are simple and effective and have been proven effective by many business owners who are private coaching clients and will work equally well for you. For more information on how you can grow your business, regain control of your time and get more from your business, contact us for an obligation free Explosive Business Growth Session with one of our business coaches

Is Your Money management keeping you struggling to make ends meet some months even though you’re flat out, working long hours? As you know, you can be great at your job, have customers coming to you all wanting you to do work for them and still struggle to make ends meet some months. Now this just isn’t the way it should be! The Good news is that with the right money management tools, you can forecast and budget to keep your business out of the red and put more money in your pocket! Ensure the financial future of your business by knowing the critical numbers in your business! The cold hard facts are that NO matter how great you are at your trade, without you having the tools and understanding of how to forecast the flow of cash in your business, you’ll keep struggling on the rollercoaster ride of some months good others not having enough to pay the bills. There are 5 main money management tools that give you the power to see into the future and stop any potential issues before they become a problem… Profit & Loss statements Balance Sheet Your Breakeven Point Cash-flow forecasting Debtors & Creditors systems It’s easier than you think to take control and manage your money and forecast into the future to take your business to the level of success you want! The 5 money management tools mentioned above each have their own role to play in giving you financial freedom and the lifestyle you deserve and we’re going to show you how they work. Profit & Loss & Balance Sheet You can simply print these out of your accounting package and these 2 tools show you the “financial health” of your business. The balance sheet gives you the “big Picture” of how your business is performing overall, while your profit & loss gives you an itemised picture of each expense and income source. This allows you to see where you’re getting the most money from and where your largest expenses are so you can plan changes if needed. (MYOB and Quickbooks are the 2 most popular programs for our clients). Your Breakeven Point If you don’t know how much money you need to make to open your doors and do jobs for customers, you could be working for nothing or worse still end up paying for the privilege of working long hard hours. This is where our simple break even calculator helps you ensure you cover your costs to actually make money. You can do this over any timeframe you need. (Weekly, monthly, yearly) Cash-flow forecasting This is possibly the most powerful tool you’ll ever use in your money management for your business. This is the closest you’ll get to having a “crystal ball” to predict the future in your business. Instead of making your business decisions on previous numbers you’ll be able to look ahead at your cash position over the coming 12 weeks to identify any potential bottlenecks with your cash flow and fix it before it becomes a problem and allowing you to make more informed decisions on your future growth strategies, marketing and sales. Debtors & Creditors systems Debtors can literally send you broke if you don’t have the systems to keep them under control and paying on time. If the people you extend credit to “string you out” past your trading terms, this puts you behind in paying your creditors causing you problems. The longer it takes for you to get paid, your larger the cash gap is going to be. This is the gap you’ve got to cover from other money or call up your suppliers that have given you credit terms and say you can’t pay and none of us want to do that! With the right tools you can forget tossing and turning worrying about not having enough money, trying to make ends meet and spending every waking hour in your business away from your family and friends. This is not the way it’s supposed to be… The 5 money management tools mentioned here are only a small sample of the tools and systems Trades Coaching Private Clients and VIP members have access to, ensuring they achieve the level of success they desire. Understanding the critical numbers in your business gives you the ability to work smarter instead of harder, plan and create changes that gives you a well run business that gives you More Time, More Money and the lifestyle of your dreams. With the right tools and guidance you can have it all… You can have a life as well as a business!
Every business needs to have a sales Process that outlines the steps your sales team need to follow to ensure maximum sales are generated, regardless of the experience of your sales person. Your sales process is all about how you ensure that every customer that comes to your business is treated to the same buying experience. The difference in sales success through having a documented sales process has been a major factor in increased sales for our private coaching clients and members. If cold calling is part of your sales process, your process of creating sales in your business, starts before you even speak with your potential customer…it starts with your attitude and motivating yourself to sell. Your sales process helps you to ensure that none of your team misses any steps that may lead to people escaping from your sales funnel. With the processes in place, your sales team is set to experience a higher rate of success with sales even with the newest of sales people on the job! Depending on what you need in your specific sales process, your sales process must cover all the steps to step your potential customers through your sales funnel to become a sale and hopefully a loyal customer for life! Some simple steps you may have in your sales process for your team include: Prepare and motivate yourself Before you start on each sale make sure you prepare yourself, you must know what you are selling and the benefits of your product for your prospect. Make sure that you know all the answer to any possible questions or objections from your prospect. Arrange a meeting with your prospect Schedule a convenient time to meet and your prospect to discuss the product, and confirm your appointment ahead of time. Qualifying your prospect Many coaching clients used to waste a lot of time on going out on site and doing quotes for people who really had no intention of buying. By taking the time to qualify your prospect on what they need and when they plan to take action, you will save a lot of wasted time. Add points into your sales process for your team to follow making sure that they find out the things critical to you securing sales like asking questions around what style, if they have a budget in mind, if they have a partner that needs to be part of the decision making process etc. Your qualifying questions will be different depending on the product or service you are offering. Sales information pack You should have an information pack you can send out to interested prospects. Our private coaching clients discovered that having a sales pack outlining the benefits their product or services offer which includes testimonials increase the conversion rate of enquiries to customers. Educate your clients on the benefits By educating your potential customers on the benefits of your products and or services will stop the constant negotiations on price that has plagued many businesses for years. Closing the Sale The deal isn’t done until you have the contract signed or the money in your hands. So be sure you to ask for the sale at the end of your call. Many make the mistake of going through all the steps in the sales process but don’t ask for the sale. If your sales process addresses all the needs of your potential customers and covers any objections they may have, there is no reason they wouldn’t buy! Selling has changed from the high pressure sales people of the past and by having a sales process in your business, you are changing from the dreaded high pressure salesman to professionally helping people to buy. Remember everyone loves to buy but everything hates to be sold. The members of our website and our private coaching clients have the advantage of training videos outlining how to create their sales pack / marketing pack to increase their customer base and portray a more professional image to potential customers For more information on how you can grow your business, regain control of your time and get more from your business, contact us for your obligation free Explosive Business Growth Session with one of our business coaches
